COVID-19

 

Driving lessons can resume on Saturday 4th July.

 

Safety Advice Summary for COVID - 19

 

Symptom Free Self - Declaration
You must not have a driving lesson if you fall into any of these categories:

You or someone you live with has coronavirus symptoms.
The symptom list can be found here: GOV.UK COVID Symptoms
 

You’ve been told by the NHS Test and Trace service that you’ve been in contact with a person who has coronavirus

You have entered or returned to the UK in the last 14 days, except in very limited situations which can be found here: travel exemptions. For more information on GOV.UK COVID border rules please see here

 

 

Face Coverings
Pupils must bring and wear a face covering during driving lessons, unless there is a good reason not to.


This includes if:
You have a physical or mental illness or impairment, or a disability that means you cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering

Putting on, wearing or removing a face covering would cause you severe distress

You need to remove it during your test to avoid harm or injury or the risk of harm or injury to yourself or others 

 

Before your lesson always

 

Ensure you are sympton free

Wash your hands

Wear face covering

You can wear gloves, if you prefer.

 

The car will be cleaned between lessons with anti-viral sptay or wipes

 

The passenger door handles inside and outside
The dashboard in the instructor area amd any other touch points (e.g. steering wheel, sat nav, mirror).

 

We will meet you at the vehicle.

They will have cleaned the veicle by wiping all the instruments that you will be using. Your instructor will supply you with hand sanitiser
